CallTell (http://moreinfo.thebigboss.org/moreinfo/depicti… )is a new iPhone tweak which reads aloud the name of your caller. In version 2.0, it also reads SMS messages. However, only if you use Apple’s Alert instead of Quick Reply.
Please make BiteSMS compatible.

Topic: New Features / Override vibrate switch

I saw on my friends android phone he had an app called where’s my droid. If you miss place your phone you send it a text message with a code word and it will ring the phone even if it is set to vibrate. Great idea for finding your phone, but it made me think, it would be an even better idea for emergencies. Seeing as my wife and myself usually have our phones on vibrate and don’t alway feel them vibrate we miss calls. It would come in great if I really needed to get ahold of her by forcing her phone to ring. Any chance that could be added to bitesms.

my phone crashes into safe mode .. on any incoming Text :(

there is a conflict between bite and iblacklist
i thought it was fixed :(

Hi

I have been making a theme for my iPhone 4 and via this code:
<key>NavigationBarStyle-0</key>
<string>1</string>
all topbars have changed to black and most of the buttons to, but not in biteSMS, some still remain blue.

Anyone got a clue to change this?
I think it’s something in the biteSMS app that does not allow for this change!?

You should request your lisence by mail to “help@bitesms.com” and type as subject “NOT FAQ”. They will respond immediately or in a few hours!! Just be patient! The support team is the best it could be in this site/program!!

One phone per license. You can, however, transfer your license to a different phone if you buy a new one. But at any time, the license can only be active for one phone.

same problem. When sending text messages from inside Bitesms app, it closes on send. But the text msg goes thru…

Now even after a clean restore, and downloading bitesms right away, its still the same!

I discovered something new..

When a message is failed, and I typed another message, it still happens, the app closes on send. But then, when I try to send the old message that didnt send ontop, it doesnt closes the app! so WEIRD!

Also, I am experience the auto-scroll bug in 4.X that a few people mentioned happening on 5.X where the messages don’t scroll when opening the keyboard and then don’t go back down to the bottom when hiding the keyboard and instead just leave a bunch of blank, empty space.

I recently bought a license and I’ve noticed that when I send a text and lock my phone too fast, the message will automatically not send. Is there a fix or do I just live with it?

I also use backgrounder with a lot of rules (every mb of memory is gold in 3G, so with it i can use multitasking..) since 1 year…

iPod autoclose function would be very great for 3G users, very very great…

Obviously it would be logical Backgrounder take this kind of function into account, but it manages multitasking usage rules whether (and the iPod app needs of multitasking anyway), here the question is more when App uses the multitasking …

What is the Kill Prior feature ?

If you tap on the little arrow when the icons are wiggling, it’ll kill every running app from the selected app till the end. In other words, every app to the right of the app you select will be killed, including the selected app.

Hey there, first time post, long time look (and beta)!
Just wondering if there is a better way to list known bugs on the first page so as to avoid reading 10 pages worth? Like the way the list of features in the beta are listed, with a light blue background instead of yellow!
Anyway, not sure if this bug relates to bite or iPhone delivery (or if it has already been mentioned!) upon checking old messages sometimes the successful delivery tick will appear in the centre of the text of receiver rather than beside your own message.
Sorry if this has already been suggested or the bug reported.

Beejive, mails are on and my calls are coming in all the time. I guess a mere 12 hrs is all it takes with intense usage to fully drain the batt

Would it be possible in a future update to make it so you have the option that your phone always vibrates when you get a text (even in ringer mode)? I’d love to have my phone on ringer more, but I love how my phone vibrates for texts in vibrate mode so I have to keep it in vibrate mode if I want that feature. If you can’t/don’t want to integrate that into bitesms, is there already something out there that can give me this feature?

Can we also sync all the entered messages? Like if I enter a message in biteSMS app then close it and open it QC window to that contact, the message should show. Also, if I QC or QR someone and then “Later” or “Open” it, it should show immediately in the biteSMS app. Basically if a message is entered to a user in any form (QC, QR, or app) it should show up across all 3.

Firstly, after trying bitesms i decided to buy it, yes after buying it, trying out a few days i notice hmm, the batt life is draining.

Okie i shall give a rough idea on whats on my phone i dun have much MS on my phone, infact the only 2 stuff on my phone is 3G unrestrictor and bitesms. Notification wise i only on Whatsapp and Beejive ( beejive wasn’t login), 3G wasn’t on Backlight was totally OFF. Background wise i clear it before i do a test. Yes b4 i went to sleep iphone 4 FUll charge 100% woke up in 5hrs+ time it was drain till 90% without doing anything in 5hrs+ almost 6hrs. I was skeptical on iphone batt i must say. iphone 4 as quoted from the web it say it can standby for 300hrs (i know it’s a ridiculous no.) but look at my current situation if the batt were to drain 10% every 5hrs,50hrs is all it takes for the phone to be fully drain to 0% without doing anything =.=.

So i went on to uninstall Bitesms, and test out the batt with all the same condition, every 1.5hrs-2hrs it drain 1%, so could anyone any idea what i shud do? As im a Bitesms lover but since i am out most of the time it’s really unwise to have the batt drain out so fast, and with usage it might not even last me a day. =.=
