I am eagerly waiting for the 5.2 as it will have textfreek. I am assuming that the app would automatically detect textfreek users from the phone contacts?

Remove biteSMS and run Cydia/Search – reinstall biteSMS on BigBoss source, their app updated 5.1 Final on Bigboss.
Actual repos source is empty, so i think they’ll release 5.2 beta 1 on it!!!LOL

Crashes when I try to text using Lockinfo Favorites feature.

quicklist bug? when I tap on the quicklist message icon in the statusbar when the phone is unlocked (on the homescreen/springboard) it always brings me to the spotlight page.

Thus when I try and quick reply, the keyboard will sometimes overlap the spotlight keyboard so I can respond, othertimes the spotlight keyboard will overlap the quick reply keyboard I can’t type anything

Issues with privacy settings. I open bitesms and create a new message to a “hidden contact.”. When I click send the conversation disappears (since I have not entered my password to unlock the conversation). When I enter my password to show the hidden conversation, it has sent the message I just sent, but it still has the sent message box populated with that message. Therefore I need to delete the last message from the text area before I can type something new to send.

Specs: iPhone 4, os: 4.1, bitesms: 5.1 final.

If I have to standby (Springboard), and then I get the sms is also biteSMS icon …. How can I remove the icon biteSMS I’ve only got the SMS

Havent been on the forums for a while but recently installed 5.1 and was really excited to see the new features! Amazing job. Though I seem to have encountered one bug, you see everytime I “Slide to view” any text on the lockscreen while bitesms is running in the back it does not take me to the new message. In other words, I have to go to my conversation list and then select the message otherwise it will stay on another thread.

I’m on an iPhone 4 running 4.1 with 5.1 installed. Before this I had 5.0 running (so I have not installed any 5.1betas before this)

Any help would be appreciated. :) Thanks!

Can someone help me out here? I’ve been reading through the changelog and cannot for the life of me find options for “Previous Messages”, “All Timestamps”, changing the size for message text. Is it because I’m using iOS 3.1.3? I don’t want to upgrade to 4.0+ due to it being incredibly slow.

These features are solely for 4.0+ only.

I’m pretty sure support for 3.x stopped at version 4.98… one of those versions. Definitely not 5.0 or 5.1.

I bought bitesms since 5.0, any function I need was working perfectly.

But, when I updated to 5.1 yesterday, I found one thing didn’t work which I do prefer to use.

That ring tone in 5.0 played out when I plug in earphone, which can remind me message received. But in 5.1, the ring tone works like iPhone original SMS apps, ring tone only played through earphone.

Don’t know if you treat it as a bug or not. I do appreciate this previous function. But I can’t find switch to enable it.

If it can not be fixed, where I can find old version 5.0 to install…?

I am using ip4 iOS 4.1 limerain jailbroken.
