I sent 2 crash reports some days ago: one of them was a Springboard crash caused by biteSMS. |
@phloo, I have not seen a single crash report from anyone. Did u follow the FAQ auto-reply instructions for how to email us? (add “NOT FAQ” to subject line). Also have u tried 4.95 to see if it helps u as 4.94 did have some iOS 3 fixes (that were actually caused by a JB problem not bite). |
My problem from 4.94 still exists. When I message someone from within the app then press Messages to to back to my SMS list, it freezes then crashes. Prior to 4.94 this did not happen. |
fred, can you send us a crash report, and iOS version, and if ads are on or not. Make sure you put NOT FAQ in the title. Email to help@bitesms.com Use the Cydia app called “CrashReporter” to capture the biteSMS crash, and copy, then paste into an email. Also does the native Messaging app crash as well? Does biteSMS crash when you open it from the biteSMS icon? |
Thanks Martin, I will do this as soon as I get home. Some information for the time being: iOS 4.0 QR and QC work perfectly. However, when I open the BiteSMS app and send a text from there, then click Messages to go back to my SMS list, the app freezes and crashes. This is consistent each time I send (not a 1-time situation). I’ll send the crash report once I get wifi connection. Thanks! |

as u can see.. the text on the 3rd line onwards becomes cropped, then from then on, becomes invisible.. on ios4, 3gs..

@Martin & Co. I’m truly loving BiteSMS. I remember when I had iRealSMS, I’ve been using BiteSMS since I’ve updated to iOS4 and its just amazing. Like, wow. So simple, clean, efficient, feature packed, and effective. Plus, you guys are constantly fixing and updating the app. Its amazing. I can’t wait to buy this app for my iPhone 4. I’m sure that moving from a 3G to iP4 is going to be like night and day in performance, and its that, that I’m excited about. Bite already works amazingly well on my 3G. Thanks Guys. |

As mentioned for the third time now, QuickList Icon still disappears in several apps.
More over I would like to use Notifier and IntelliStatusBarIcons which allows several plugins like KeepAwake, (Insomnia?), Notifier/Reminder to display Status Icons in the StatusBar. Can this somehow be fixed ?

Ugh … syslogd is giving me trouble …........ |
@ Martin, I have just send an email for u and biteSMS team, pls check and clarify it.thx! |
@kosty, you said:
Nothing we can really do here, as the Mobile Substrate plug-in is specifically disabled by these apps when they load, I guess to “keep them safe”. Other MS apps like SBSettings don’t work on the status bar either in these apps. Seems logical to me. |
@Martin I tried disabling both the weather plugin for lockinfo .. it still doesn’t fix it .. |
U need to disable the MobileSubstrate dylib using SBSettings |
Thanks Martin ! |
