it’s not possible if i tap on the icon in the statusbar with a qr open automatically mark as unread the sms, close qr and show the menu? it’s annoying everytime i have to switch tap on the unread toggle, close qr and then tap on the top

The new quick list implementation is absolutely AWESOME!!! I love it!! Congrats to you guys for another incredible feature.

Also, I agree with BD’s idea, it’d be awesome to tap the pink “b” and not scroll to the top of the page but if u tap anywhere else on the status bar then it scrolls.

Anyways you guys are the best!!!

One problem I seen a while ago, but just getting round to reporting it.

1. Receive a text so that QR opens.
The received text is white text on a blue background.
2. Select some text in the just recieved message.
3. Move the slider to select more/less text.

In the magnifying window that appears, it displays white text on a white background.

Is the beta repo down? Been trying to test beta 1a and it’s not showing updates in Cydia.

I’ve tried www.bitesms.com/cydia/beta4.7 and also bitesms.com/cydia/beta4.7 and no luck.

Another thing. It would be good to have some kind of indication of a unread message while being in the lockscreen. If I receive a message in lockscreen I either get the summery screen, QR or the normal pop up (this is good). When phone is unlocked I get the icon on status bar, QR, or the normal pop up (this is good).

But if I receive a message while unlocked, mark it as unread. And then lock the phone. I see nothing (easy to forget that I’ve actioned a message for later). I have used status notifier before for this, and it worked great. But now that bitesms will have it’s own icon I will then have two icons basically saying the same thing. So I disabled notifier for sms notifications. But lost the icon in lockscreen.

What I’m asking for a possible solution is, if it’s possible. To have the summery screen to always show in lockscreen if there is a unread message, in what ever combination you do stuff. Or just have an icon but pressing it won’t do anything, or by pressing it you get the summery screen. Just something to remind you. Doesn’t have to be something you can interact with.

Edit by Martin, anything is possible, just trying to think through what is right here. As you have the lock screen summary which is of “missed stuff” and the unread icon, which is “unread stuff”. And the 2 are very different. Are you saying that’s fine, but pressing the status bar icon in lock-screen will simply show you all unread (which will also include all missed) right? is that not a tad confusing?

edit: hehe one more thing. I noticed that you can’t close the QL window by pressing at the right or left side of it. Having the phone in landscape makes those two surfaces bigger and more easier to press then the top and bottom. Portrait mode it’s good. just a suggestion.

Kapiere das irgendwie nicht ganz mit der Quick List. Wo soll da was kommen? In der Statusleiste ganz oben bei der Uhr etc?? Hier kommt nix. Hab mir jetzt mehrere SMS selbst geschrieben, aber sehe nirgendwo was.

Ich nutze sbsettings. Liegt es daran?? Oder MUSS mann z.b. Quick Reply eingeschalten haben um Quick List zu nutzen?

Kann jemand mal bitte ein Screeshot machen, wie es auszusehen hat?

How come everytime I get a message I have a ”!4” icon in red. I always have a ”!” and it’s annoying even after deleteing all 25000 messages I had

Awesome!! Love the quicklist! Id like to put my vote forward and say that I think text highlight would be a better way to show selection. Thanks for a great app guys!

Just One Thing i noticed: In QL set a message as read, open it and the read/unread toggle in qr has no effect.

B1a fixed the unread badge, nicely done!

i think that when there is only one unread message, touching the status bar icon should show directly the QR popup, without going through the list..

i used to had that too.. very random and very rare.. it helps after i deleted the sms.db…
