"Email Conversation" button at top of each conversation

That way, if we find a conversation humorous or epic, we can email it to ourselves or a friend very easily.

Email integration is on the TODO list I think, isn’t it ?

Email a single message is on the TODO list, but not a conversation. Emailing a single message is lame, getting the entire context is a much better idea.

But wildo, what if you have a conversation of personal messages, and you dont want to email one or two from the whole list.. ? (What we could do is implement an option saying “Select all messages & email” (in one mail ofcourse). This would then email out the conversation.

In the other case what we have right now, you can selectively email texts. (And I have to agree with you, because generally its an exchange of multiple texts that make things interesting or worthy to be emailed).

However, I definitely wont like a button on the top frame. Its getting jam packed (but maybe yes if it says only “email” rather than “email conversation”, but then would promote confusion regarding what to email).

I do still like the possibility to email a whole conversation.

I do not think a button on the top frame stating “email” would confuse to much: first, there are other options even more cryptic or hidden (like re-sending a single message by sweeping it), second, when pressing the button the purpose (“send the complete conversation as shown at the moment”) could still be explained, while the user is asked to enter the email address.

Finally, buttons at the top of a conversation are rarely shown, usually only the last messages at the bottom appear.

In fact you could also see a feature like that as an easy way to simply ARCHIVE long conversations:

- Lets say we have a conversation with 500 entrys
- Mail conversation to own adress
- Delete conversation through normal function

Would be a cool way to shorten long conversation lists easily. Hence it even could be called “Archive” ;-D

Hmm… I found this in the native sms app:
<key>SMS_FULL_WARNING</key>
<string>Your SMS mailbox is full. New messages cannot be received until you delete some messages.</string>

You know anything about the accusal limit?
