I think a new icon would be nice. Obviously this isn’t the most important thing, but it’s something! I’ve been using Winterboard to change the icon to this, and I’m sure many other users would like this icon as well:

It’s by the author Ripper, and can be found on Cydia, called biteSMS To Pink SMS Icon. Personally, it looks amazing and looks like it fits right into iOS, which is probably what a lot of users like.

Just a quick opinion.

Its much much nicer than the original bite icon but I like a winterboard package from Cydia called “biteSMS to Green SMS Icon”. It is the same exact icon as the one your link shows a picture of except it is the original green color of the messages icon, just with a bite in the speech bubble.

Hmmm….............................I wonder how many biteSMS users change there icon from the regular pink on to one simalar to what me and you use. I am curious to know if the majority of people change it or leave it be (not including people that use complete themes). I bet the majority changes it.lol

There is already a feature to change the icon back to the stock one by apple. So you have the possibility to change it.
