As far as i know, it would be needed an API or such to make possible to launch BiteSMS from lockinfo screen when receiving a sms and selecting it there, if you don’t have QR activate in settings ( as i don’t like to have it activated)

IRealSMS has this feature working with last Lockinfo 2.1.0.12 Beta.

Come on BiteSMS! will you let IRealSMS have this fantastic feature available? aren’t you preparing something regarding this?

Are you saying that tapping on lockinfo “New SMS” should open the biteSMS application, doesn’t that work?

Nothing happens, within Lockinfo settings you can choose what happens when tapping the SMS and biteSMS isn’t an option.
The current options are these:

iRealSMS

What’s quick reply do?

Nothing. I guess they’re referring to the App “QuickReply”.

LockInfo, been dealing with Dave on this, and we have now provided all the API calls he requires to integrate biteSMS Quick Reply with LockInfo. I quote directly from his email:

Yes its released and working, only issue so far is that when you click the message to bring up the quick reply it automatically marks it as read, works well though :)

well… released and working but it also has another bug when replying it shows a previous text in the sms thread in the QR dialog when clicking in Lockinfo. I heard that BiteSMS dev’s and Dave are working on this weird bug though.

Bite QuickReply integration is working well except it keeps displaying the first text it showed until a respring.

It’s a caching issue inconsistency between Lock Info and biteSMS. We have made a change to the code to make it consistent, it’ll be in Beta3.

Installing biteSMS 4.7 beta 3 resolves the “wrong text” issue.
