I know it is somewhere in TODO list, but it have chance to never become true :/ I know that for english speaking people it isn’t important, but there are many many people who use specjal characters in their smses, and thay have to pay extra for it.

Autocorrection is one of great iPhone feature, but we can’t use it cause of costs. When BiteSMS will change “żółty” to “zolty” etc. we will have chance to use this great feature, and don’t worry about extra cost.

Martin, please mark it as high-priority at your TODO list.

EDIT: if you need translation for characters (like that “ż, ź” should be “z”) I can write it down (I think that I’ve done it once somewhere here, but it’s not problem to help) for Polish language.

I agree, but the issue is 20+ languages, and the need to get them all “translated” first, that’s the reason it’s not been done yet, lots of other “lower-hanging fruit”
