After sending, stay in biteSMS
I don’t know if this is supposed to happen, but biteSMS returns to the springboard after sending… it’s really not usefull! Maybe you guys can change it, or make it optional? Because I have a lot of fast chat-like-conversations trough textmessages I want my iPhone to stay in the conversation screen, as it was before. It it’s a bug, please fix, if it’s supposed to… come on guys! Really? Why?! :) |

It doesn’t occur for me Zand, and ofcourse, this behavior is not defined in biteSMS. When I send a message, it stays in biteSMS. What other Cydia apps do you have at the moment ? |
Okay. Interesting to figure out what the problem is. I have a 1st gen iPhone with 3.0, jailbroken with redsn0W on bootloader 3.9. In Cydia I have the following apps: - SBSettings I had these Cydia apps when I had 2.1 and biteSMS 3.2 and never had these problems. Got an idea to fix it? I love biteSMS!!!! :( |

I’d guess it’s Statusnotifier, try and remove it, and let us know. |
Nope, I still have the problem… :-( any ideas? |
After a reboot, it seems to work… I don’t have the same problem, but it’s maybe to early to cheer, because before it wasn’t happening EVERY time… will keep you guys updated… if the problem is indeed StatusNotifier… can you guys make it compatible? Because statusnotifier is one of my favourite apps (next to bitesms ;)) |

Well, biteSMS is still crashing after sending a message… not everytime though. But way too often to accept it… I can’t reinstall right now, will try at home, but I got a bad feeling about it… |
Hm.. worth a try: sbsettings>more>extras & options>fix user dir permissions |
Are you also making sure that BiteSMS is enabled in Intelliscreen for the performance part?? |
I’ll give sbsettings a try tonight… BUT I uninstalled everything in Cydia, no more sbsettings, no more intelliscreen, everything is gone, even biteSMS. When I send an sms with the native, apple sms.app… it crashes!!! So it’s not biteSMS… anybody got an idea? |
Perhaps your SMS database has not been upgraded from FW 2 to FW 3, did you manually copy it from a backup? |
As I explained in the other topc (better keep one topic alive, apologies!) I went back to 2.2.1, restored the sms.db with iPhonebrowser, made a backup in iTunes, updated my iPhone to FW3.0, redsn0wed it and restored from the backup made earlier in iTunes and tadaaaa… I got my textmessages back… so I did it the right way. If noticed, since I’m still able to text somebody, a couple of times my phone went in safe mode (with the sad ipod) after tapping send in native apple sms.app… weird huh? (will still try sbsettings fix permissions/sms.db.bk test and complete restore of iPhone) I really want my textmessages in FW3.0 and I MUST use bitesms ;-) |
