Send to groups!

please add a feature to select one of the address book groups and send an sms to all within that group.

It’s planned, but it’s not as simple as it sounds.

In the meantime use an Application like ABContacts (you can define and select a group, then press SMS, and it’ll open up biteSMS for you containing all your contacts in that group already selected).

hmm.. the only down side is that it does not wireless sync my contacts to exchange server..

Start-up ABContacts, Double tap a group name, and then a slide up window will appear, then press “SMS All Mobile Numbers”

Do you have any idea how many contacts that can be added to one sms at a time?
Or is it simply a matter of loading to send that text to each and everyone of the ones added in a queue?

yes please we wont to send to groups ,, three is an app name groups in app store he can send to groups but this feature are hide buy the developer because apple we can activate it by taping 10 sec in Drop Confirmation in menu …
this developer are friend to mine … and off-course you can do it :)

I have many contacts with more than one cellphone, tried this app and it does not send to my configured group, otherwise nice app :)

It would be great to have this feature included in bitesms :)
