Dear fellow-biters,

Scattered around everywhere in the forums, one of the most highly demanded and dare I say controversial requests we have had lately is to reduce the Send via xxx button to just say “Send” in the biteSMS interface. This would apparently also reduce the text field size from the current two lines to a single line, as it is in the native SMS app.

We’d like to comparatively measure the support in favor of this change. This is only meant to be a survey for our committed developers to judge if it is “worthy” enough. :-) Thanks!

I know you said do not add reply, but it can be deleted by admin, but not much of a poll when all you are asking is for 1 sided reply only!

You are only achieving a 1 sided perspective with the way you have it worded and doesn’t give a genuine reply to the issue.

It doesn’t show total number of replies for % ratio, nor does it give total of interest by an answer either way.

I think you need to add + or – to get a proper perspective of people’s thoughts.

We are moving towards improving the real-estate for viewing with release 3.1, as the settings icon (little blue arrow) is no longer on the line below the Send button (paving the way for the counters line to be shown or not, for those who have unlimited text plans).

Regarding the Send button (the subject of this topic), the only thing we need to resolve is to make the “Send” button clear as to what it’s set to either Carrier or biteSMS. It might be obvious to “advance forum users”, but believe me, you’d have to sit on support for a day or so to see the level of confusion, and that’s with the buttons clearly labeled!

What about colors? Pink for BiteSMS and normal Blue for carrier?
