Is this normal? I know it was mentioned on the FAQS that this happens when forwarding mms and the problem is on the stock messages app, but is it the same for imessage and sms?

Forwarding of sms on stock messages app is ok,but when using bitesms the app closes but still the sms gets sent.

Yes your right it closes but gets sent.
