I’ve been having this problem for a few weeks. If I receive more than one text at a time, the springboard crashes to safe mode. Sometimes it crashes upon receiving only one text. I upgraded from 6.1 to the 6.2 Beta3, no change. I was told this was a clash with LockInfo and so I uninstalled it. No change. I uninstalled BiteSMS and reinstalled (still with NO LockInfo), no change. It crashes 15 times a day (apparently I text a lot). Come on, there’s gotta be a fix to this. Why does no one else seemingly have this problem. Help would be much appreciated.

This just happened to me. I installed bitesms 6.1 after jailbreaking my iPhone 4S on 5.0.1. I was getting this when I received like 3 texts at once. I just installed 6.2beta3 and the problem persists. The annoying thing is that when I had a tethered jailbreak for my iPhone 4 on 5.0. I had the same problem!

I am not even running lockinfo. I am also barebones with bitesms. Mywi, my3g, sbsettings.

Same problem. Almost relieved to find out others are experiencing it. Can’t determine what started it, but as of Friday my phone crashes to safe mode almost everytime I receive a message. Very easy to replicate… How do I send crash log?

No problem on an i4

Same problem. If I’m responding to a text in QR and another one comes in, Springboard crashes and goes into safe mode. Also, just a few minutes ago I was replying using QR on the locksreen and it crashed with no other texts coming in. I am also barebones – all I have is BiteSmS installed.

What beta version?

I have same problem, receive a text and crashes to safe mode. However i’ve been on 6.1, then later 6.2.5, 6.2.6 without this problem. It’s only after i tried 627 then this problem starts.

I’ve tried removing and reinstalling 627 still the same. I’ve even tried revert back to 625 and 6.1 it’s still the same.

Ensure all your cydia installs are up to do. Then disable all MS add-ons and report back please?

i think i have the same problem but mine is particularly when receiving iMessage. maybe it’s iMessage that doesn’t work with bitesms? but before i wasn’t having this issue. everything is fine until i get a message from another person using imessage. i also have SMS GV extension installed but i don’t think that has to do with it because it’s receiving imessage that’s the problem and i can’t simply fix it which is frustrating…=/

I’m also having this issue. I’m running 6.2 beta 8 on iOS 5.0.1. It’s not specific to iMessage for me. How do I log these crashes so I can report them?
