when in ad-supported mode, the message list (a conversation) autoscrolls to the bottom whenever the banner updates. this makes it very difficult to select multiple messages for deletion or forwarding while in edit mode.

i do not mind the banner updating, i just need the list not to scroll so that i can go on marking messages for action.
