Cause it isn’t very comfortable to send an SMS with your iPhone when your macBook / iMac lies onto your womb / desk ;) – So here is an OS X bitesms-widget!

For everyone with a bitesms Account – Yes ;)

i want to have some feedback ;)
for me it doesnt work. (yes, i copied the signature to the widget and i have bitesms credits)

1. did you select a contact?
2. did you get an error message?

That looks awesome man. I’m a linux/pc guy but I can appreciate a nice lil widget when I see one :)

Surprisingly my “activation-token” field is empty.
I only have license number, license type (credits), and signature…

Is it possible to get a screenshot with a deformed avatar? (because mine pictures are shown with the correct dimensions)

Cause the biteSMS Interface doesn’t send back a correct error message (“unknown request” isn’t very meaningfully:)) we must debug your “wrong requests” step by step :) Is it possible to get a mobilenumber with that you have the problems to send a SMS?

without this informations it is impossible for me to debug this error :(

But please don’t post it here, (please send me an email) cause by knowing the token it’s possible to send messages over your account;)

i use kludget engine to load dashboard widgets in windows… can you change your widget in way that if you click to send and there’s no name selected in contact but there’s a number in search field you send it to the number in search field? because naturally there’s no contact app in windows that work.. so if you do this edit i can use it from windows!

EDIT : where does one enter his biteSMS phone number ? Right now I’m getting the same error as dec, two posts up.

Where is the PC version?!

With kludget engine in Windows you can use dashboard widget but this not work for Now because it uses contacts fro os x

@all with the sending error:
Please look in your biteSMS.db file again. Select the table voucher and select the value in its token field. If there are more than one entry, please select this one with the biggest credits-left value.

Then it should work ;)

@jakez Sorry for not getting back, just saw your post now. Your last post actually solves the problem, the token from the voucher table and not the token from the license table was the issue. Excellent work, this is an amazing little widget. Not sure if I should thank you as I will probably send twice as many sms now :-D

Just a little bug I noticed, I have friends with more than 1 mobile, but only 1 number shows up for them when I enter their name
